The Independent Review Service is on the lookout for dedicated Independent Reviewing Officers to join our team at Birmingham Children’s Trust. If you have the skills and commitment to ensure quality care plans and effective quality assurance, we want to hear from you!

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Experienced Professionals: At least 5 years of post-qualifying experience in children’s social work, including supervising and managing social workers.
    • Child-Centric Approach: Strong belief in the participation of children and young people in decision-making processes.
    • Leadership Skills: Ability to chair complex meetings creatively and command professional respect among colleagues, partners, and service users.
    • Commitment to Excellence: We uphold high standards of practice and promote the identity and views of children in care planning.
