Volunteering with Us

We have exciting volunteer opportunities for the right people who want to make a difference to our children in care and care leavers through our new Befriending and Mentoring programme.

Anyone can become a volunteer if you are over 18 and have the passion for working with children and young people. No qualifications are necessary, however full training is given.

How to Volunteer

If you’d like to volunteer with Birmingham Children’s Trust, please follow these two simple steps:

  1. Find a role by browsing our volunteering opportunities using the vacancies search tab above. The role description will tell you more information about the volunteering opportunity and time commitment.
  2. Apply by using our quick application process. If we think you're a good match then we'll invite you to meet with us. This is an opportunity for you to get to know more about the role and Birmingham Children’s Trust.
