  • We are recruiting for an inspiring and compassionate Deputy Home Manager with strong leadership and childcare experience.     About Trinity Road

    Trinity is a brand new service due to open in February 2026. Trinity will provide tailored residential support to up to 4 children with a range of learning disabilities.     About you:

     As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in leading the team, always ensuring the highest standards of care and safety:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, rota management, and budgets
    • Supervise and support staff, delivering training and promoting professional development
    • Implement care plans that reflect each child’s specific needs, wishes, and feelings
    • Foster strong relationships with children, staff, parents, schools, health services, and external agencies
    • Champion inclusive practices that affirm each child’s identity
    • Monitor and report safeguarding, health and safety compliance, and quality standards
    • Promote independence and daily living skills among young residents
    • Facilitate children’s meetings to encourage involvement in shaping their care
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and contribute to planning, reviews, and assessments

    Who We’re Looking For

    We’re seeking someone with warmth, resilience, and leadership capability who can bring empathy and structure to our care environment:

    • QCF Level 3 in Children and Families (required)
    • QCF Level 5 (or working towards) in leadership/residential care (required)
    • Experience managing staff and working in residential childcare (essential)
    • Proven ability to handle complex behaviours and emotionally challenging situations
    • Skilled in communication (including use of visual and adaptive aids)
    • Knowledge of care legislation and quality standards

    • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide network of professionals
    • Available for shift work, weekends and public holidays
