• About The Role

  • With substantial additional investment to further improve and enhance our offer to CiC and care leavers post 16, Teams Managers with the passion and experience in improving outcomes are sought to help us realise our aspiration of wanting the best for all the children and young adults that we support.

    Our Leaving Care service is one of the Nation’s biggest and supports care experienced young adults in their transition from care to independence now from the age of 16+

    Our priority is to support and enable care experienced young adults to realise their aspiration and ambition and have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about and able to care for themselves. Champion their voice as Corporate Parents in all that we do.

    A commitment to a systemic, strength, relationship and solution focused practice model that contextualise the needs of care leavers through a trauma informed/adverse childhood experiences lens is essential.

    You will be a Social Work England registered social worker, bringing to the role a track record of working with children in care or care leavers. A skilled supervisor, having a proven ability to develop individuals and teams, enabling them individually and collective to a make a difference in the outcomes for our care leavers.
