• About The Role

  • We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Recruitment Team in our Fostering Service.  This has never been a better time to join our Fostering Service which boasts an OFSTED rating of ‘Good’ and we are very proud of this.

    The focus of the role is to raise awareness of fostering across Birmingham.  You will be involved in screening and generating the enquiries of members of the public who are interested in becoming foster carers.  You will also attend information events and other recruitment activities.

    We are looking for someone with experience of receiving and responding to complex, sensitive calls and providing detailed information to enquirers. 

    You will also need to be confident with face-to-face communication and presenting to the public.

    You must be highly motivated and have an engaging manner; coupled with the ability to provide advice over the phone, record information clearly, accurately and quickly.   

    An ability to maintain good recording systems is also required.  

    Experience of Fostering services will be also be advantageous.
