    An exciting opportunity has arisen in Birmingham Children's Trust in the Quality Assurance Directorate for a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). As the LADO you will be responsible for the management of allegations against people in a position of trust who work with children. You must have able to work with a level of professional autonomy and be able to deal with complex situations. 
     
    You will be based at One Avenue Road, Aston. 

    About You: 

    We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:

    • A degree in Social Work and have minimum 5 years post qualifying experience. 
    • Registration with Social Work England.
    • Management experience is desirable
    • Experience working within child protection.  
    • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
    Interviews will be held on 1 May 2025.
