Exciting Career Opportunity: Business Support Officer – Court Business Support Team
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and customer-focused Business Support Officer to join our Court Business Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality business support services that contribute to positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
Working closely with the Business Support Team Leader, you will coordinate workloads, support colleagues, oversee administrative processes and help ensure performance, quality and customer service standards are consistently achieved. You will also play an important role in supporting the development of colleagues and driving continuous service improvement.
You will join a small, dedicated team committed to providing responsive and effective support to colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of high-quality business support services, ensuring workloads are allocated effectively and performance targets are achieved within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Act as an escalation point for Business Support Assistants, providing guidance on complex queries and issues.
- Support training, induction, skills development and the maintenance of skills matrices and team competencies.
- Produce management information, statistical data and performance reports.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance service quality, efficiency and staff development.

Essential Requirements:
• Experience delivering high-quality business support, administration and customer-focused services in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach, using initiative to resolve problems, manage unexpected situations and drive service improvements.
• Experience coordinating, supporting or supervising others, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Strong ICT and information management skills, with experience handling data accurately, confidentially and in compliance with organisational standards.
