    We are seeking an Intervention and Participation Lead to join Birmingham Youth Justice Service. In this exciting position, you will leverage your abilities to not only lead the development of Youth Justice interventions for the Service but also use entrepreneurial skills to create new ventures that drive improved outcomes for children.

    As the Intervention and Participation Lead, you will be at the forefront of our initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement strategies that foster engagement and active participation and co-production opportunities with our children. The successful candidate will support a newly established intervention team to provide a wide range of high quality and creative Youth justice interventions, enabling young people to express their life experiences, reflect on their decision making for change, and helping to increase their confidence, self-esteem, and levels of aspiration. Your role will be pivotal in identifying areas for improvement, devising creative solutions, and ensuring the successful execution of projects and initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Leading and managing the development of intervention projects from conception to completion.

    - Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to create and develop new ventures.

    - Collaborating with cross-functional Youth Justice and Partnership teams to drive participation and engagement.

    - Identifying opportunities for improvements in receiving feedback from children, care givers and victims.

    - Ensuring the successful execution of strategies and projects.

     

    Key Requirements:

    - Proven experience in leading and engaging children in interventions and participation initiatives.

    - Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create and develop new ventures.

    - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    - Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.

    - Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
