As a Team Manager, you will be passionate about working collaboratively with young people, families, partners, and professionals across the wider system to ensure that care leavers receive high-quality support, guidance, and opportunities as they transition into adulthood. You will understand the importance of building strong relationships and promoting a culture where young people feel empowered, valued, and supported to achieve their aspirations.
We are looking for a leader who can provide both high support and constructive challenge to their team, creating an environment where staff feel motivated, developed, and accountable. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership, management, and supervision of a team of approximately 7 to 8 Personal Advisors and practitioners. You will provide effective case oversight, quality assurance, and performance management, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and that interventions deliver meaningful and lasting outcomes for young people.
A key aspect of the role will be leading and contributing to service development initiatives. As we continue our journey of improvement and transformation, you will play an important role in identifying opportunities to enhance practice, strengthen partnership working, and embed innovative approaches that improve the experiences and outcomes of care leavers.

- Can lead change confidently and contribute positively to the ongoing development of the Leaving Care Service.
This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people as they move towards independence, ensuring they have the relationships, support, and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed in adulthood.
