    The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Service - Children's Residential. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our residential estate, ensuring that children and young people receive high-quality care. You will oversee multiple children's homes and be responsible for both operational and strategic leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and management to the residential services, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory and inspection frameworks.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and achieve excellence.
    • Work closely with colleagues across the Trust to deliver the Trust Sufficiency Strategy and strategic priorities.
    • Ensure the inclusion of service users, partners, and staff in the journey to outstanding service provision.
    • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the residential services.
    • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize performance outcomes.

    About You:

    • Proven experience in a senior management role within children's residential or social care  settings
    • Strong knowledge of residential legislation, regulatory, and inspection frameworks.
    • Dedication to continuous improvement and a commitment to achieving excellence.
    • Ability to think strategically and innovate to improve service delivery.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Possess an understanding of how to include our service users, partners and staff in our journey to outstanding.
    • Have the ability to think ahead, scan opportunities to improve residential sufficiency, whilst ensuring the effectiveness of managers and staff in delivering good practice.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
